Our Saturday began by visiting the FLY (Fun Learning for Youth) School. The school is a weekend tutor program that meets on Saturdays for high school children.
There are 130 students enrolled in the school and approximately 65 volunteer tutors.

Our next stop was to the Green Market Square. This is a market in Cape Town’s city center where artists and traders meet from all corners of the African continent to sell a wide range of fabrics, sculptures, art, and beadwork. In addition to shopping, there are several entertainers that sing and dance to raise money for their families.
Following the market, we traveled to The School of Divinity in Stellenbosch where the framework of the apartheid began. It was difficult for us to imagine that such a one-sided racial mandate could have happened in this beautiful place.
Our final destination was the Township of Khayamandi that sits in the seat of one of South Africa’s most popular wine destinations.
