FLY Program
All from today's time with FLY Program this morning. High school tutoring program, brought about from young black professionals that volunteer their time.
The group consists of 50 adults tutoring 125 students from 3 Townships. Every Saturday they gather to tutor students in math, english and life skills classes at the JLZwane Centre in the Township of Gugulethu. There is no charge to the students to attend the FLY program, the students must pass an entrance exam to participate and agree to be present weekly. AIAIA assists the FLY program annually with the monies used for textbooks, stationary, supplies, college application fees, transportation and a meal for the students.
