Nelson Mandela Museum

Nelson Mandela Museum

The Nelson Mandela Museum is a not for profit institution established by the government of South Africa as part of a portfolio of legacy projects that seek to transform the heritage landscape from our apartheid past. At the same time, it is a resource for promoting economic development throughout tourism in an impoverished region of the country. This is the region in which I was Nelson Mandela and grew up. Our delegation toured Nelson Mandela museum, in Umtata today. Quotes from Mr Mandela as seen in his museum today. To harbor Grievances would be to lessen one's own character. After climbing a great wall one only finds that there are many more to climb

  • Honesty - the first thing is to be honest with yourself. You can never have an impact on society if you have not been honest with yourself first.
  • Self-esteem - if you are in harmony with yourself you may meet a lion without fear because he respects anyone with self confidence
  • Charm - I can't help it if the ladies take note of me I'm not going to protest.
  • Leadership - as a leader I always endeavor to listen to what every person has to say in a discussion before venturing my own opinion.

The delegation is now on it's way to a food distribution and warm meal in Itipini. Visit our Flickr page for more photos
