Presence
After two days of traveling we had our first quarterly food distribution (chicken, rice, flour, sugar, oil, semp, and beans) in Itipini. This village has limited resources and continues to struggle with the threat of being relocated.
Our next visit was to Empilweni (place of healing) a senior residential care facility. We were given a tour of the home and were able to visit with some of the residents.
We ended our day by returning home to a joyful greeting from some of the children of Malengheni. The kids played soccer… girls were given handmade dresses…and they were all provided with a hot meal.
