Unakho Children’s Home Care

The Unakho Children’s Home Care in the township of Guguletu. Cape Town, South Africa, is home and orphanage for 22 children ranging in age from 1 to 17. Rev. Julius Bonani and his wife Irene are the loving, compassionate caregivers for thse children who face many challenges, among them HIV/AIDS. During the delegation's February trip to South Africa, AIAIA committed to assisting with food distributions quarterly .The second distribution of the year this was recently completed. Social worker, Lorna Rutter, who assists the home wrote back after receiving the most recent stipend: “On behalf of the children, 'Enkosi' and lots of warm hugs!” We continue to keep this group, as well as all of our family in South Africa, in our prayers.
